Mark, you leaving the boards?

The kitties have written
'bout their troubles and trials.
They have held many truths
and have told few denials.

But the time now has come
for the kitties to say
that they've had lots of fun
but they're going away.

Away from this place
full of challenge and strife.
Away from this place
with little to do 'bout this life.

I've told you all here
'bout where I've been and I've gone..
I've given to all some advice
and sang to all my fun songs.

I've shared all I had
of the trouble I've lived though
And held little back shared
with posts that I'd give you.

Still some here have dissed me
and sent me away.
And a few kitty haters
sent me 'long on my way.

'S cold 'round here now with the crunchers'
power switches shut down.
And the kitties are not sure
why their master doth frown.

It may be an hour
or it may be a day.
'Till the crunchers decide when
to come back to the fray.

I have bargained and bickered with
the least of you all
and smiled and shared stories
'bout the kitties and all.

But some would not listen
and some had to quibble
'bout my songs and my stories
'bout the kitties and kibble.

So here you all have it
I've gone aft aglay....
The kitties will be here
in bed where I lay.

I've tried hard to share here
my kitties and life.
And sometimes it tumbled a bit
over to strife.

But share as I did
I thank those who did listen.
And shared with me sometimes
the love of a kitten.
