When I try to run SETI tasks, I get a computation error, and this sort of message shows up on the message screen. Wed Oct 31 17:15:44 2007|SETI@home|Starting 11fe07ab.29078.7025.11.6.33_0 Wed Oct 31 17:15:44 2007|SETI@home|Starting task 11fe07ab.29078.7025.11.6.33_0 using setiathome_enhanced version 528 Wed Oct 31 17:15:45 2007|SETI@home|Deferring communication for 1 min 0 sec Wed Oct 31 17:15:45 2007|SETI@home|Reason: Unrecoverable error for result 11fe07ab.29078.7025.11.6.33_0 (process got signal 11) Wed Oct 31 17:15:45 2007|SETI@home|Computation for task 11fe07ab.29078.7025.11.6.33_0 finished Wed Oct 31 17:15:45 2007|SETI@home|Output file 11fe07ab.29078.7025.11.6.33_0_0 for task 11fe07ab.29078.7025.11.6.33_0 absent I contacted a BOINC volunteer and they said that signal 11 means the task is not linked correctly and to contact the projects that were having this problem. Is there anything I or SETI can do about this? Thanks |

I have looked at your resutls. Since yesterday 18:13 all your results error out. Your system send the last successfull result at 15:43 yesterday. Have you done anyting significant at your system between 15:34 and 18.13 yesterday ? - For example installed some patches ? Have you tried to stop and start the BOINC client again ? What happens if you reboot your system ? I am not shure, but it looks like a problem at your system. |

I have seen, that you have the same problems posted at rosetta. The moderator suggested you to make a reset project. Could you do this please at SETI, too. |
