I would like the ability to set the process priority running windows gui version. For example "low" is ok for some machines but on dedicated basket crunchers I'd like to define that to something higher... like "below normal" or "normal". It would have to be host level so maybe as an option under the "settings" menu or at the host/project level by adding to the right click on a project menu.

Yes,

Like on the Classic version, - I used SETIDRIVER...

There you could set it to "Idle" (do not process), "low" / "normal" / "High" processor...

& it will look at what other things are running on the PC, & then adjust the processing accordingly...

Eg if it were on "low", If other things required the processor, it will slow down / stop the SETI calculations - until the other process has completed ...
(example - but I have no idea exactly how it was programmed - Just imagining how it will work...)
