I have 3 computers working on Seti and all 3 of them stopped dowloading new work. So, they are getting idle in a while (if not working on other projects). What is going wrong?

Could you please be so kind, and post the messages, which the manager gave you?

Could you please be so kind, and post the messages, which the manager gave you?

Also, which other projects are you working on?
What are the <long_term_debt>s for each project (from client_state.xml)?
What are the <duration_correction_factor>s for each project (client_state.xml)?
What tasks do you have on the host for each project?
How much CPU time is left?
What are the deadlines?
What are the contents of the <time_stats> section of the client_state.xml?

On 2 of the 3 machines I am also running climate prediction. These 2 machines do not work on seti. The 3rd machine appears to work on seti, but there is no waiting queue: as soon as the work unit is finished it is uploaded and a new one dowloaded.

My bet is that the CPDN tasks are running into deadline issues. Don't expect S@H until these are (nearly) completed.

One of the two Long Term Debts is negative - guaranteed.

I need to know the values for the amount of work left and the deadlines for each task in order to figure out what is happening.

For example, I have one CPDN task on one computer with about 80 days of CPU time left, and about 50 days till deadline - clearly both still in the future, but the CPDN task is going to be late.

What struck me is that when Seti is requesting new work it requests new work for 1 second only. In the past, it was requesting for a few 100000 seconds of work. May be, this gives you a clue.

There are several different causes for this. To tell them apart, I need the information I asked for earlier. I also need to know the version of BOINC you are using.
