Boinc is running just fine under all profiles on my win xp system, but it always brings up the window when you log in. My wife has no interest in this window, but she wouldn't even notice the tray icon.

Is there no way of making the window pop up ONLY if I double click the icon instead of at startup?

start the program with the flag -min
that will make boinc start minimized.

IE.

if you have a shortcut change it to "c:/path/to/boinc/boinc_gui" -min

Remove it from the list of apps that run at startup.

(Oops, nevermind. That's not quite what you were asking for.)
