BOINC perference

Why is the boinc client not updated? Am I doing the correct procedure? Thank you. ID: 657220 ·

Update to 5.8.16 Jerry, actually, the number you are referring to (resource share) is not the same as CPU usage. The resource share comes in play if you run multiple projects (like Einstein@Home, Rosetta@Home, there are more computing projects than Seti which can be run under BOINC), which then splits the computing time between these projects. And, as already stated, the minimum BOINC version for the CPU throttle to work is 5.6.x. The CPU usage can then be monitored via e.g. task manager. HTH Andy ID: 657298 ·
