I don't want BOINC on my computer anymore...how do i get it off??

For Windows installs, you should be able to uninstall it through the control panel -> add remove programs -> BOINC. I assume that the instructions for the other Platforms are similar.

If that does not work, you need to install the exact version that you have installed before uninstalling. All of the versions are available here.

Nah, it likes to make my computer lock up when then screen saver is up so thats pretty annoying. Plus, I was doing it for extra credit anyway so now im done with it :)

You could always turn off the screen saver and just run the science app if you believe in the science.

There is a bug in the Windows version of BOINC that caused some computers to lock up. It is fixed in Version 5.10.20.
