The following list of good URLs that once worked with Version 4.03.

I've seen this error as well. I haven't seen it after I upgraded boinc to 4.08 which is an alpha version.
It might just be a coincidence that the error stopped occurring for me at the same time.

the alpha stuff is at
http://setiboincdata.ssl.berkeley.edu/boinc_alpha/download.php
but there's no guarantee that alpha software works.
