I have been trying to post a message on the Message boards but it says I don't have enough credit. I have over 1000 hours on the old seti. How many do I need? What if I donate via paypal? Do I get access to the message boards? What happens when the program finds a definate signal it knows is the real thing? Will it do anything special? ;) Also when I do a search of my user name it comes up with 3. Can they all be conbined to just show one name with my totals on one?

How many do I need?

It's referring to Recent Average Credit (or RAC for short), and I don't know how much you need, but I do know you need more than 1 for most of the board. Here in Q&A you can have no credit and still post.

It would be much appreciated but it won't get you the ability to post in other areas of the message boards.

What happens when the program finds a definate signal it knows is the real thing?

It will be verified by several teams of scientists, which to be certain can take months or more, then a rather large announcement will be made to the general public.

You can not combine accounts. When I do a search in BOINCstats, it only shows one account with your name that has credit. If that is your account, if you sign on with that account you will be able to post in the other forums. That account has 475 credits, with a RAC of 16.

I don't understand. That is my current credits since I reinstalled it. But the old seti is still under PKII I did a search of PKII and it came up with 3 accounts. I guess it showed 1,2 and 3. I have only one way to log in.

Ok. I got it. Weird. Thx :) Kind of sucks I lose all my other work. Oh well I just want a hit. Old work and no good results as good as nothing to me. lol :)
