OK, ya wanna talk sexy now?? How 'bout that Coke bottle Charger in Bullitt?

Now that is a real classic (& in my collection).

Every time I watch it, I get seasick when "that" chase is on..Wow.

Great one!

Then there's the chase between Papa Doyle (Gene Hackman) the cop, against the hitman trying to escape on the subway train. In "The French Connection".

About that Bullit chase, Steve McQueen was quite the driver, on both a motorcycle and in a car. He was one of the first Hollywood stars to be known for doing his own stunts...no stuntmen for him! LOL

He did a lot of his own stunt driving, but there were doubles used in Bullit. Did you catch my earlier link about The filming of the Bullitt chase?

I may or may not have done a little racing on this road.

I live near it still. Here's a Google Earth kmz bookmark showing it's location here in the Bay Area:

Any time, Beets!

I don't know if the google earth bookmarks save the description so I'd better add that the name of the road is Gaudalupe Canyon Road.

I don't think there is any current actor to come close to him!

Here's a shot of Steve on "The Great Escape" set. I heard he did his own stunt work for that famous scene where he flies his stolen German motorcycle over that fence. Great scene, whoever it was!
