I know that it is already a big topic in this forum, but would it be possible to show just the pending credit (without a result page or detailed infos) in our statistics, in order to see if wus have been received and how many credit we can expect in the days coming? I don't know if it is a lot of work to do or if this will overcharge the database, but just showing up a number without any more details should be possible, shouldn't it? I know that seti is much larger than lhc, but I have to say that seing the credits at each moment of there way through the validator is far more intresting than just receiving them from time to time without any connex. Maybe we could also use this thread as a platform to receive infos from the admins about the current process on this implementation. |

im sure there are many people waiting for this feature to get back on (including myself) but i dont mind waiting a bit until the dust settles a bit. its been a while since the server was up and running fine but i think we should give it some more time before we can call it 'stable' and not rush into things coz thats definetely gonna be one page which the server will be overloaded with requests for. ---------------------------- Team X-BTF S@H Forums S@h Berkeley's Staff Friends Club © member |

The problem with pending credit is that it is extracted from the Results table and that cause a significant number of problems ... On SETI@Home I would not look to see that again until Classic is put to pasture and some of the hardware from that side could be used to host some of the current load.
Click Me! |

You my see your pending credit it anyway, granted one differs from it. After tripplet is complete then credit is granted and it always differs from requested one. So for me is more importat to see raising of credit, chnge of RAS, when it goes up, to 300 or more then I know that credit granting goes well. [b]S@h Berkeley's Staff Friends Club © member |
