When I click on " your account" I get a page that displays around 6k credits. The question is, as soon as I click "my account" from the web page the next page says I have a 23.88 credits. I know they do not really mean anything, but why is this being unconsistent?

I only see the 23.88 credits on your account page. Is the other page with the 6k credits exactly the same except for the amount of credit?

Greetings,
Sander

Hi L4nce,

you probably have two accounts, one you're posting with and the other one with the hosts attached to (see here, I guess these all belong to you... ;-).

Now, how to fix it? First, go to the account (the one which shows the 6k credits), write down (or remember) the email addy you used there, click on "change password" and temporarly change your password to something else (but remember what you've typed in, we'll need it later ;-)). Save your changes.

Then go to the other account (the one with the 23.88 credits), find the link wich says "logout" and log out (you also may want to change the email addy of this account to something garbage since you probably do not want to use this account anymore).

Last step is, reopen the "your account" page (either from the BOINC GUI or in your Web Browser) where you should be asked for your email addy and your password to log in. Type in the infos needed (the one from the 6k account we set above) and your're done! Finally You may want to change your password back again to the original one (but keep in mind that you have to log in anew when you change the password)

Hope this helps.
Andy

Ah I see! I remember I was having problems logging in after my last reformat. My email didn't match up apparently. I have no idea how my PC got back on my old account' but hey, that works ( I think..) Thank for your help.
