I found this really nice looking one at wikipedia.

You mean as the program icon or the tray icon?

The program is easy to do from the properties dialog for the exe. The tray would have to be compiled in as a resource IINM.

It's tough enough to get your pet-peeve bug du jour fixed in the next buld, let alone an icon change. ;-)

Look how long they were using the real crappy looking one before going back to the original. :-)

(I’m pretty sure that image is a copy of the largest size of icon, 128×128, from a Mac OS X version of BOINC Manager.)
