What !!! Nobody cares about a FREE fuel cell truck from Chevrolet ! ? Or a 5 cycle V-8 engine that puts water into the fifth stroke turning into steam from FREE heat ??? I am LOST on this site ! What was its title again ?

Yeah, I don't live in the right area either. New York, Washington D.C. and Southern California. I think I know why it is these particular areas. It is so the graffiti that is applied while your parked downtown will match the graffiti like paint job (look at the website picture...).

Where is website pic ? Yeah Orange County is the mecca of Hydrogen research. Screw Hydrogen, Go Hemis ! Yeah, I fit in here ! 5 strokes is a good idea though ! My dad had water injection on his P-47. gotta work

P-47s were good at taking fire and still getting bombs off at those U-Boats off the coast of Africa. Then they got replaced by the P-51s.

I think gas was about a nickel per gallon or less, then. Japan hit us because we shut down their import of gas. See where this is going?

P-47s never were off Africa. In Germany and Italy. They could take fire, except for my dads. Shot down in Germany.

Not because that's what our oil companies pay for it. I don't buy gas in Iraq so couldn't say.

I know a man who bombed U-boats and ships exactly where I said the P-47s were used. He then hit Italy, like your Dad. Maybe WITH your Dad. This guy is as sharp as a razor to this day and continues to work at his own business, here in Burlingame, California.

God love him. So few left. My dad blew up a train, came back (never do that) to watch. Apparently this annoyed the Germans. Got shot down. Germans were SO sensitive about this stuff.

You should write a book, if you have enough data.

I'd buy a copy from you.

Sounds like a fascinating story. If you feel like posting more about it in the Heroes thread I'd love to read it.

Scientists burn water?:

Radio Frequencies Help Burn Salt Water:

ERIE, Pa. - An Erie cancer researcher has found a way to burn salt water, a novel invention that is being touted by one chemist as the "most remarkable" water science discovery in a century.

John Kanzius happened upon the discovery accidentally when he tried to desalinate seawater with a radio-frequency generator he developed to treat cancer. He discovered that as long as the salt water was exposed to the radio frequencies, it would burn.

Sound familiar?

(No pun intended.)

Sigh. Energy is added through the radio waves (and some energy source is being used to create the radio waves). You are not getting something for nothing, you are getting less energy out of burning the water (Converting Hydrogen and Oxygen back into Water - at a higher temperature than it was at the start) than you put into it with the radio waves.

Never said anything about free energy in this post or it's name.

How much energy is used to transport a barrel of crude and then process it into gasoline?

Too much.

I am all in favor of increased efficiency, and alternative fuels, but putting water in the gas tank is not going to work.

Many people could do with an electric vehicle - especially if the range between recharges was at least 150 miles. There is at least one electric vehicle with a range of greater than 200 miles, but it has 2 problems - it is $100K, and it seats 2 - acceleration is far more than adequate 0-60 in 4 seconds - top speed is more than adequate (~200MPH) - you can buy it next year (the orders are exceeding supply - you could have bought it last year if you ordered 2 years ago).
