seti@home wont download a new file. No download means no processing. No processing means nothings happening!

Heres the problem.
Boinc repetedly tells me "Boinc needs an active internet connection to download new files". The things is, I am already connected to the internet!
Internet explorer and other internet apps are connecting fine, so whats Boincs problem!!??!?

I have a broadband connection. My ADSL modem has ethernet ports on it and I connect to the net through the LAN. Could this by why?

Your LAN setup looks OK.

Do you have a personal firewall of any sort? Is it set to allow BOINC.exe to call out to the internet on http (port 80) and https (port 443)?
