LMAO!

Thanks, KM! Don't worry, you guys are doing great! All depends on how you look at the numbers. For example:

Canada 202,622,187 credits / 2178 members = 93031.30 credits/member
Calm Chaos 7,598,275 credits / 56 members = 135683.48 credits/member

For a 56 member team, you guys are kickin' some booty! lol

That concludes this episode of "Canuck Pep Talk"! Tune in next time when our topic will be, "How to trap Beaver using only Maple Syrup and a Toque". A toque is a knit winter hat for those of you that don't speak Canuck.

You Might be a Canuck....

If someone in a Home Depot store offers you assistance and they
don't work there, you may live in Canada.

If you've worn shorts and a parka at the same time, you may live in
Canada

If you measure distance in hours, you may live in Canada

If you have switched from 'heat' to 'A/C' in the same day and back
again, you may live in Canada

If you can drive 90 kms/hr through 2 feet of snow during a raging
blizzard without flinching, you may live in Canada

If you install security lights on your house and garage, but leave
both unlocked, you may live in Canada

If you carry jumpers in your car and your wife knows how to use
them, you may live in Canada

If you design your kid's Halloween costume to fit over a snowsuit,
you may live in Canada

If the speed limit on the highway is 100km -- you're going 120 and
everybody is passing you, you may live in Canada

If driving is better in the winter because the potholes are filled
with snow, you may live in Canada

If you know all 4 seasons: almost winter, winter, still winter and
road construction, you may live in Canada

If you have more mileage on your snow blower than your car, you may
live in Canada.

If you find 2 degrees (16.66c) 'a little chilly', you may live in Canada

Team Founders have used Seti and Other Projects to further their "Team Goals."

Well Seti needs Your help in letting team members know that Seti Needs Help! This has been ignored in the past. The Team founders can make a difference! It is called getting the correct information to All Your Team Members...

It is a $10+ money order or a check to Seti or whichever project that the Founder feels is important. All you have to do is provide the information. In this case Seti has provided that information. Donate. Yes, it should not matter which project. It is the Team Founders responsibility.

If you feel that I have said anything that is improper, then RedX it... The moderators will take care of it.

Regards

Pappa

I was hoping to give Calm Chaos a chance at some new recruits! It's no secret that when this thread is at the top of the page that membership for other teams goes right down the toilet! New recruits are drawn to Canada like kids to a candy store and who could blame them? Our forum features 24 hour room service, a pool bar, even squash and tennis courts!

We have actually done quite well over the last month.

Not nearly as large a number of new members as the larger teams, but pretty doggone good for a small group like us. :-)

Happy New Year to all!! The boards have been slower than cold maple syrup so I hope you excuse the late wishes. 2008 (The Year of the Canuck!) promises to be a big year for SETI and BOINC so strap in and get ready to crunch.

Well we had a nice little thaw for a day or two here (not that it really made a dent in the snow mountains at the end of my driveway!) and now it's gettin' cold again. Time to get back inside and back to crunchin'!
