Looking at your avatar the years have slipped by leaving you relatively unscathed!

:D

I'm at around 7 years but under several accounts so I don't know if that counts. I think I still have some old SETI, pre BOINC, certificates of credit somewhere on a disk. I'll have to look them up.

Member since June 28, 1999 myself. :-)

Just wish BOINC would finish doing downloads this week. I'm down to processing one a day this week, with 5-6 downloads queued up and continuing to attempt downloading.

Me too. 21 May 1999
Looks like we've surveyed a section of a sphere with a radius of 8 light years.
We could still have some processing to do....

My 8th SETI birthday has arrived.

I have to admit to not crunching contiuously for thosse 8 years. I probably took at least 2 or 3 years break from SETI, but I have been running BOINC since 06 Jan 07.

I guess it's about time I uploaded a profile.

BTW my first home cruncher was a 486 DX 2-66, my second one the P233 MMX is still crunching today.

Just started crunching again. Seems one didn't get much credit for ones previous efforts. Feeling somewhat behind ...

Noticed on my account page I put in 1,152,271 hours worth of CPU time. Could that really be correct?

How time flies when having a good time and suddenly you realize another birthday has come and gone before you realized it.

I believe the start date, by that I mean date SetiatHome was made public was about 16 May 1999. But looking at this page you can see people were registered before that. I knew about it about a week before I registered but found it difficult to connect until the 18th.

8 years ago today! I just set up my Intel Quad Core Q6600 today too. What a nice nerd-anniversary present to myself.
