How long did the signal last? Was it just a few seconds, minutes or hours? If it was a couple seconds I think we could confidently say it was not from another civilization. If it lasted for several minutes or hours then we might be on to something. I know the Arecibo transmission we sent out lasted for about 3 minutes.

Has SETI@home used Arecibo to scan these coordinates?

Message 539867 - Posted: 2 Apr 2007, 0:56:23 UTC - in response to Message 539415.

What did I earlier ask a question about?

By the way, the signal lasted for 72 seconds.

Also in the two .avi video files I have showing a sample as seen by a Seti@home version 3.03, in the first of them, there is a strong spike or the similar at the upper left, which may have been a local disturbance.

Or may be a starting calibration, perhaps ?

But when I look at the signal itself, it could be that this was originally a
broadband signal and that it may have traveled for a long distance through space.

Also in the status window, the software notes a (perhaps earlier) pulse of
power 3.68, period 0.9437 and score 0.51. Definetely not a very noteworthy number that one.

Can anyone send me the original WU perhaps? I will like it very much !

Where can I see these AVI's?
