How long did the signal last? Was it just a few seconds, minutes or hours? If it was a couple seconds I think we could confidently say it was not from another civilization. If it lasted for several minutes or hours then we might be on to something. I know the Arecibo transmission we sent out lasted for about 3 minutes. Has SETI@home used Arecibo to scan these coordinates? |
