Somehow yesterday the system decided to create a new instance of my computer (new ID, new log, etc.) What had been running fine under one id is now two ids: 3135911 BSLRWB1 0.00 0.00 GenuineIntel Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU T5600 @ 1.83GHz Microsoft Windows XP Professional Edition, Service Pack 2, (05.01.2600.00) 2 4 Mar 2007 12:50:35 UTC 2851387 BSLRWB1 91.63 14,402.32 GenuineIntel Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU T5600 @ 1.83GHz Microsoft Windows XP Professional Edition, Service Pack 2, (05.01.2600.00) 11 3 Mar 2007 13:45:09 UTC How do I get back to one ID for my computer? Somehow yesterday the system decided to create a new instance of my computer (new ID, new log, etc.) This happens when either Berkley or your computers burps and it loses your computer but knows you have units pending so Boinc creates another for you. It is not as common today as it has been in the past, but is nothing to worry about. You will not lose any credits, your numbers just won't add up any more. |
