Astro Volunteer tester Send message Joined: 16 Apr 02 Posts: 8026 Credit: 600,015 RAC: 0	Message 519147 - Posted: 18 Feb 2007, 11:58:35 UTC As far as I know the only diff is that 5.8.13 won't install on win98/winme, and 5.8.14 will. 5.8.14 was a quick release to fix that specific issue with 5.8.13. 5.8.13 changelog: Change Log: - core client: don't print misleading error messages when reference site access succeeds on initial startup. - core client: a few more messages for <benchmark_debug> - core client: fix bug where if a task is aborted (e.g. because it exceeds CPU limit) it's restarted on the next enforce_schedule(). The problem: we're deleting the ACTIVE_TASK, but the result is still in the ordered_scheduled_results list. The solution: call request_schedule_cpus() in handle_finished_apps() when an ACTIVE_TASK is deleted. - WININSTALL: Use the Unicode version of ShutdownBOINCManager on NT based platforms and use the ANSI version on 9X based platforms. 5.8.14 changelog: Change log: - WININSTALL: Forgot to make the ShutdownBOINC/ShutdownBOINCScreensaver custom actions NT only. Thanks, I've just downloaded 5.8.14 for Windows. Will install when my current WU fimishes. Are ALL the changelogs for every version on a webpage somewhere? Thanks for posting the current ones. (I see it has been made as "Recommended" as from today (within the last 10 hours or so).
