If you have problems compiling the boinc client or the v4.xx boinc_seti client(app_info.xml included) you can download it from ftp://quit.homelinux.org (Safe but bandwith limeted) Compiled on Gentoo Linux running Kernel 2.4.26, Glibc 2.3X |

The reason I ask is my Alphastation ev6 creates a binary that takes roughly twice as long to process a work unit than an ev56/ev67 binary that I've downloaded :-) It seems to get to around 20% and then the expected completion time starts to go up. I used very conservative CFLAGS when compiling seti/boinc, just -O3 and -mcpu=ev6. TIA |
