Hi, I have a wu that has been working away, for two days, at something but has never gone past 24% complete. I have a reasonabley quick computer that compleates most in around four or five hours. Is this normal or has something gone wrong, if so what can I do about it? thanks Stephen |

Hi, Shut down Boinc and restart it. That usually clears or restarts an errant WU. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

Hi, It's not right, but you're not the first one to notice it. Best advice seems to be to try re-starting BOINC (full file|exit, not just minimise to tray), and see if it starts making progress again. If it does, just let it run: if you don't see any progress after the re-start, abort the WU and let the machine get on with the next one. |

Hi, if a restart reboot doesnt clear it up i would abort ,as there is no way a times 40 factor of increase in wu time is anything other than an issue p p pick up a penguin they hate waiting on buses!!! |
