Hi all. Since upgrading to v 4.05, I have been unable to complete any workunits. I have tried detaching from the project and reinstalling the clients, but I still get the same message. The following is what most recently happened when I reatached to the project ...

Also it seems since the upgrade BOINC will crash end terminate itself. I haven't had any of the other problems associated with the upgrade such as slowing of computer. My computer is as follows

HP nx9010 notebook w/ 20GB HD, 2.6GHz celeron processor, 384MB RAM (64 used by video card Radeon 345IGP) WinXP SP 1. I have all critical updates and packs except for SP 2. I do however have the new and improved "update security center" (I think v5 of windows update) though.. I also experienced the same thing with climateprediction client. Thanks for any feedback.

Try resetting the project not reattaching it. It worked for me.

I'm having the same problem. Two things I have in common with your setup was that it was crashing intermittantly, it was failing to download the user logo, and it was getting that -144 error.

I've since updated my SETI@Home BOINC settings to not have the logo, and after tossing in a quick reset (before it would crash), it now isn't crashing. But I'm still getting the error:
