I've got this problem three times in the last weeks: My machine was running s@h and suddenly (i think it happened in the moment the screensaver started) a small window titled "SISGL" popped up. After two of the three occasions Boinc stopped its work and yields a "Client error" result. Today it looks like the WU remains to be ok, but the question is in spite of everything: What causes this problem? Thanks for any idea, Fritriac "... but never eat the yellow snow!" Inuit wisdom |

Your machine shows Memory 479.53 MB, which sounds like it's using shared memory for video. This is not the best for the screen savers. It actually slows things down, and can cause issues. Now that the new application is doing a lot more work, it could be causing more issues. Try running without the 3D screen savers. Use just the basic, or blank one, or better yet, save money and shut the monitor off. My movie https://vimeo.com/manage/videos/502242 |
