How do I get a project to use both cores on my cpu?

If I have a project running, it only uses 50% cpu power (1 core)

If I attach another different project it uses that same core also.

I want to be able to use both cores 100% with projects on boinc.

How can I do this?

Many thanks.

Click on "Your Account" (at the top of the web page here), then click on "General Preferences: View or Edit", then change the "On multiprocessors, use at most:" to whatever number you want.

Once you have saved your preferences online, open BOINC Manager, click on the Projects tab, then click on any project in the list, then click on the Update button to force BOINC to download the new preferences.

You need an OS that can handle multi CPU's. Win NT, XP, Linux etc yes. Win 9X no.
