The last time I had internet access to this computer was about a year ago. I was a seti@home participant and had just finished a block of data when I lost my internet...using what I've come to understand recently as the old system (the non-BOINC system). So, of course, when I try to connect with the old system it won't allow me to. Which means that I have this old, unsubmitted data lingering on my computer. I really wouldn't care except I have the flashing red and green satellite in my tray taking up space and annoying me. I know to get rid of this problem...I would just have to uninstall the old seti program, but that would delete the old data. Is there a way I can upload this old data to seti?

u can delete it directly. and remove some keys in registry. if u can't find the key, you can search the string "SETI@hom", then delete it.

No, the old data server is offline and all workunits not sent in are deemed invalid. The good news is that most of the data was never cross-referenced and was probably crunched a couple hundred times, so it probably didn't go to waste.

Since BOINC fixed a lot of the server problems, the WU was probably crunched with the new SETI already and it's results already recorded into the database.
