I had this problem twice yesterday on two different machines which have been happily crunching for a while. They both run Predictor & SETI under BOINC.

Basically for some reason both "Project" entries ended up pointing at predictor.scripps.edu, all server information for SETI was the same as Predictor, and my SETI projects directory was filling with Predictor executables and data.

No amount of detaching/reattaching or resets would fix the problem.A full reinstall was necessary.

I have two queries:

1. Has anyone else experienced this?
2. IF it happens again, is there a file or file set it would be worth copying sideways to try and trace the problem? I'm guessing client_state.xml.

OS: WinXP SP1
BOINC 3.20, Seti and predictor executables as downloaded by BOINC.

If you dont like Boinc, then go back to classic seti.

Nope, both machines have a single BOINC GUI install, and had been running for a good while trouble free
