OK. Many thanks for this info. I think I have another problem: I've installed boinc on all my servers. To make installation easy, I copied the file account_setiathome.berkeley.edu.xml to all my machines and startet boinc. Then boinc downloaded the setiathome-binary (Version 402) and started with downloading data. This worked on all machines until 12-04-05 21:12CET. Since then on ALL machines there is no upload or download of datafiles.

On all machines there is only

[SETI@home] Started upload of 25ja04ab.17413.6576.978420.15_2_0
2005-12-07 15:17:10 [---] Attempting to communicate with [setiboincdata.ssl.berkeley.edu] timed out
2005-12-07 15:17:10 [---] Attempting to communicate with [setiboincdata.ssl.berkeley.edu] timed out
2005-12-07 15:17:10 [SETI@home] Temporarily failed upload of 25ja04ab.17413.6576.978420.15_2_0: timeout
2005-12-07 15:17:10 [SETI@home] Backing off 2 minutes and 40 seconds on upload of file 25ja04ab.17413.6576.978420.15_2_0

in the logfile (I started boinc with writing its output to a logfile).
All the machines have different linux-distributions and they are scattered over whole germany. They all worked fine from 12-02-05 to 12-04-05, then all 12 machines stop downloading datafiles. I thought, it's a problem with using the same account on different machines, but what now???? I can ping setiboincdata.ssl.berkeley.edu from every machine with 203ms....

This is not an issue with your hosts.

Take a look here.
