Hi, does anyone know which time the time stamp on the stats page refers to? http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/stats/ Is this local time or UTC? This discussion board shows UTC, but what about the stats files? |

Hi Martin Since this looks like the Apache directory listing function, the timestamp displayed for those files would come from the filesystem on the host disk. My GUESS would be local Berkley time but you'd need to ask the server admins to be sure. mambo |

If you are looking for a timestamp to determine wether or not the stats are new, use the <update_time> field inside the tables.xml file. It is in a UNIX timestamp format (seconds since Jan 1 1970) But yes, the directory time stamps do appear to be berkeley time. The time stamp in tables.xml indicates the stats were last updated about 22 hours ago which would be at about 11:30 berkeley time on the 25th which is what the directory listing says.
