This isn't so much of a problem on the Seti side of the house as it is on LHC's site, but I'll get a better response on feasibility here... Background: I'm dying to get LHC to sort their Results pages by Due/Returned times rather than by WU ID#, just for human readability. In discussion on the LHC forms, somebody mentioned the wish to be able to sort by all columns on the results page, including on S@H. Since the results page code is pretty similar in output format, it's possible that the internal code is pretty similar. Questions: I know the sorting is possible with minor edits to the PHP code and DB queries, since I do it on a regular basis in my own code. The real question is whether it's an easy fix. I've seen DBs that are keyed such that sorting by headers is a REAL pain, and others that it's child's play. I'd be willing to have a hand in the work, too. Anybody have any thoughts pro, con or otherwise? Thx! (j) James |
