Assigning CPUs

Quite a few people use BOINC to run multiple projects. Most that I know use either hyperthreading processors, multiple processors or both. Is it possible to add a feature to the manager to assign a project to a certain CPU, either through a drop down menu or the .ini file. |

Hi, Try using the Boinc Preferences. E.g. the Seti prefereces are capable of signing several processors to the software... ---cut--- Processor usage Do work while computer is running on batteries? (matters only for portable computers) no Do work while computer is in use? no Do work only after computer is idle for 0.16666 minutes Do work only between the hours of (no restriction) Leave applications in memory while preempted? (suspended applications will consume swap space if 'yes') no Switch between applications every (recommended: 60 minutes) 60 minutes On multiprocessors, use at most 2 processors ---cut--- I hope i did understand you in the correct way and this answers your question...
