Hi Chaps,

Right clicking in Boinc in the active tasks
at right of task bar in win98se brings up a short
menu with Suspend included,

I am occasional need to do a schduled record
of digital television broadcasts and it would be
great to suspend BOINC for a preset period, like
30 mins, 1Hr etc and have it return to normal
operations automatically after end of suspension
period ?

This would maximise the DTV record to disk, even on
a fast PC there is occasional glitch, especially
if signal strength is low,

There are probably other times where it would be
useful to suspend for a preset period but not have
to un-suspend explicitly afterwards but have the
program do it automatically...

Rgds

try using the boinc scheduler in the pref's... tell it to only run between the hours of x and y. that way it will not run during your program
