when i installed the microsoft searchbar the B.O.N.O.C. software would try to write to areas in use by the search engine. When this happened i lost the work from C.E.R.N.. tHIS HAPPENED THREE TIMES AND WHEN THE SEARCH BAR WAS UN-INSTALLED the B.O.N.I.C. application worked normally with no problems. Just thought i would relate this . John V. Davis

Errmmm.... Why would the M$ searchbar be writing to your BOINC directory?
