Mikey I think his is a AMD XP 3200+ like mine, I return a unit in between say 7000 to 8000 seconds and yes I am running Mavericks optimised client.Oh BTW how did you wind up with one of your machines having a "PROSUSSER"

I am also running Mavericks latest and I have no idea how it came to be known as a "profusser". I just build them and plug them in, and YES they are all mine here at home.

I think a BIGGER question is why your AMD64 3200+ computer is taking 9,560.42 seconds to process one work unit on average, and my AMD64 3200+ is only taking 4,275.67 seconds! I am using the optimized client, evidently you are not. IF you were to use an optimized version of the program you would be able to do more units and then get even more credits when the validators do catch back up.
This post poses a question for me... why are my times so obscenely high? my avg
time for 1 work unit is over 10,000. My computer is running BOINC 24 hours a day. Can someone give me a pointer or two on how to remedy this?
AuthenticAMD
AMD Athlon(tm) XP 3000+ Microsoft Windows XP
Home Edition, Service Pack 1, (05.01.2600.00)
Thanks,
Greg

Think Mavericks optimized clients.
