I have a number of servers that appear to be downloading and processing workunits but not uploading the results. My \\projects\\...\\ directory contains about 6 Mb of data in ~25 result files.

Can someone tell me

a) How do I tell if these result files are unsent. The modified dates go back a week, but the servers in question have not received credits.

b) If the upload fails for any reason, is there a way I can determine (through one of the XML files) what the client still thinks it needs to send.

c) If my results geniunely aren't sent, is there anyway to force an upload for a particular client

d) If all else fails, does anyone know of a way to dump stdout to file other than using pipes (I currently push boinc_cli.exe out to remote machines with all required subdirectories and execute it with PSExec (a tool to remotely execute a process). While this method works well to get the clients started, I lose the ability to redirect console output with pipes. Ideally, I'd like to configure an option in the XML and specify an output file).

Any help you guys can offer is much appreciated...

a) Look on the Work tab. If a unit's status says "Ready to Upload" (I've never seen that status) or "Uploading", then the result HAS NOT been completely sent to the server. Make sure you have an active connection to the Internet, then "Update" the project ("Update" might not be necessary). If you have disabled BOINC's network access, you'll need to turn it back on.
If a unit's status says "Ready to Report", that means that the result HAS been sent in, but HAS NOT been reported. The next time the BOINC client attempts to get work units for that project, it will report those units and remove them from the list. You can force this action by doing "Update" on the project. You only get credit for REPORTED units.

b) Similar to a). If the client thinks it need to send something, the status for that unit on the Work tab will indicate that.

c) Similar to a). Try to "Update" the project.

d) Well, since you appear to be using the CLI version, none of the above applies. (You might have mentioned that at the start.)
