I'm a BIONIC rookie, so I figured this would be the best place to ask a question of this nature. How exactly is credit calculated? Is it per unit, or hours used? I'm still used to the old SETI system, so any info is appreciated. Thanks!!! Cathy |

Hi Cathy Welcome to Boinc/Seti. The best place to look for answers in Paul D. Bucks Wiki Handbook Just type in 'credits' in the search box and you will be just as knowledgable as oldies. Andy |

Yep dis is ta place ... and if you don't understand what we got there ... its my fault ... but, you tell me where you got lost and I go and fix it as soon as I can. Even better news is that the documents/topics are being updated by more than just me ... but we take all criticsm with good humor even if it is only a misplaced comma ... one of the editors got drafted after he found a bunch of little mistakes he found ... hmmm, maybe I should not say that or you won't point out the mistakes ...
You are welcome ... I wrote it all just for you ... and it is a work in progress so if there is something missing ... well ... you can look in recent changes to see what we did today ... (not much out of me this week I been down ...:( ) Anyway, welcome to BOINC ... and if I can help I answer e-mail (and don't give up till you stop sending me replies ... writers are like that ...). Or ask here (the crunchers forum on any of the 5 production projects, I look in 2 times a day usually)... or someone smarter than me will explain it ... |
