With 4.45 the graphic card issue is no longer an issue, so it's irrelevant ;) As I run the optimized app. for Seti, I have no graphics at all with Seti, only the bouncing Boinc sign. But as I just tested the behavior of it while crunching Einstein, I detected a quite long waiting period for the vanishing of the blank screen (several seconds). I presume, that's because of the low CPU-usage of the saver, far lower than with classic. But I think, you have waited for it a bit. Sorry, I can't help you further. I also see the graphs when viewing graphics via the BOINC mgr and hen I preview the screensaver from within Display/Properties, I also get the graphics,but not when the screensaver kicks in. I dont know what i did, it just started working! try going into boinc, projects, click suspend, then click update a few times, then resume. it might work...? also if you go to your seti@home preferences you can adjust the graphic settings, try knocking em down a bit. i dont know wether this is what made mine start working, but its worth a try.
