Hallo, till now I calculated with seti@home classics. I installed now the new BOINC software and tried to login to my account (projects=>login). But it failed (I used http://setiathome.berkeley.edu and my valid account key). A short time it shows the project, but then it disappears with message "Detached from project". ===================================================== 11.07.2005 16:03:50|http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/|Resetting project 11.07.2005 16:03:50||request_reschedule_cpus: exit_tasks 11.07.2005 16:03:50|http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/|Detaching from project ===================================================== Can me anyone help me? |

Server could be down, or your firewall is blocking Boinc, or a proxy is misconfigured if you have one, or ISP is having a bad hair day.... Ohh, last thing is to make sure you do not put spaces at the front or rear of the URL or Acct/PW..... Semper Eadem So long Paul, it has been a hell of a ride. The problem when this happened to me was failing to allow cookies to be posted. Make sure you are not blocking SETI or BOINC from posting cookies in your browser settings. |

This is an indication of a communications problem between your client and the project servers. It can be anything from a mis-configured firewall/proxy/router to the S@H ISP being overwhelmed to the S@H Servers being down. If you can do a tracert to the seti servers, then the problem is most likely to be a personal firewall. BOINC WIKI |
