I Remember that with SETI classic that you could visually see the work being done to a packet of data sent to you. Is that still possible? Will I be getting the "classic program" again?

No the Classic program is dying and should be dead with a month. If you click on the "work" tab and then click on the unit that is actually running then in the left panel you should be able to click "show graphics". You will need to be using version 4.45 though.

Hello dalk,

the Classic will not come back, it will stay for some weeks/month, but will disappear in the near future.

The work done with your WU can be looked at if the screensaver will start, and in the way described by mikey.

You can as well look at your old WUs (location in the sky and major results) with the add-on BoincLogX and Seti@Home MapView, both downloadable on the add-on pages.

Happy crunching!

For questions about Boinc look in the BOINC-Wiki
