The SETI@home website has many empty and inactive teams, and I am the owner of one of them. I have chosen to join another team myself, however, my old team for which I am the founder is still around. The page the founder can access for managing a team should have the option of deleting the team (even if there are other people on the team - other potential members would then be rendered as team less - no harm done). I am suggesting this to clear up the name space for team for new initiatives.

I would also suggest that any team that has zero members should be automatically deleted.
