I have 2 days trying to attach to the seti project, but every time I try, in the messages screen appears the error "Master file fetch failed" and the following lines:
- Resetting project
- request_reschedule_cpus: exit_tasks
- Detaching from project
and then nothing happens.
I am running on Windows XP.

What could be the problem?

Thanks.

I had this problem when I upgraded from 4.25 to 4.43. The only way I could solve the immediate problem of "master file fetch error" was to manually detach from all projects and then re-attach each project.

Hope this helps.

Make sure your firewall has permission to let Boinc manager and Daemon thru and check your proxy if you use one, and make sure you enter the URL and Acct number without any spaces, the last thing is the server may be down or backlogged sokeep trying....
