I have two computers, one at work and one at home. Can I just sign them both up for the same account, or will this cause trouble? Can't seem to find an easy answer for this anywhere...

You certainly can. As far as I know you can run as many computers you like on one account. There is a link in your profile called "View Computers" where you can see the computers on your account.

Sign up on the second computer the same way you did on the first, enter your account details into BOINC, download some WUs and away you go!

I have twelve computers on the same account. I believe that the record is someplace in the hundreds on a single account.
