I run win xp...so why is it that when it changes to screen saver I can see when it crunches climataligy but not seti? I can see seti when I preview my screen saver but not when it goes by itself.... help?

Did you select the SETI Screen Saver? That may be the problem. Go into Control Panel, Display, and choose BOINC as the Screen Saver.

The screensaver of the project your computer is working on at the time is the one that comes up. In preview mode it's only showing a representation of Seti.
