Hi All

I have only just started using BOINC and i think i have another WU @ 100% to upload to the site but it just seems to be sitting there not doing anything.
Is it not like the old Classic where a message pops up saying "SETI needs to connect"????
Can i maunally upload finnished WU?
Also does the "Disable BOINC Network Access" option mean when you right click the logo in task bar?
Should it be diabled or enabled?

Thanks in advance all

Chris

Not quite. It is supposed to be that way, but there is a bug. Use "Disable BOINC Network access" instead.

Yes. Select the projects tab. If you are using 4.19 or earlier, right click on the project and select update. If you are using 4.20 or later, left click on the project and then click on the update link or button in the left pane.

When this item is checked, BOINC will not try to connect to the project servers for any BOINC project that you are attached to.

Should it be diabled or enabled?

Depends. If you want to have BOINC connect to the project servers, you should have this option unchecked. If you are on a modem (and it looks as if you are) you should check this menu item before you disconnect the modem. If your connection is always on, leave it unchecked.
