We are no longer second class citizens ...

We Macintosh owners can now run a GUI that looks even better than the windows one! :)

Predictor@Home still shows the % complete wrong, but heck, it was showing that to BOINC View too ...

If you did use BOINC Menubar, move the folder to the main /library/Application Support/boinc data before installing or you will have to install it twice (or at least I did have to do that)...

Paul,

Did you notice any speed increase (reduction in crunch times) from migrating over to Tiger?

Goto the regular download page. It is in there called "Advanced GUI" if I recall correctly, it is version 4.35.

Also, if you installed BOINC Menubar, move the boinc data file from the usr's library to the systems before you install ... or you will have to install twice to have it pick up the old data ...

Re Tiger, some things seem faster, but have not tried to clock boinc. As far as OS goes, I cannot see, at this time, any overwhelming feature I got that I was not living without and not feeling the pain.

So, if it were a do-over I might be a little less expensive and skipped it ...
