Hi. Could someone tell me what an Unrecoverable error is please. Is it a problem with the unit or my pc? I'm a lil bit new to this so not sure what to make of it. --- - 2004-07-13 22:06:05 - Starting BOINC client version 3.19 for windows_intelx86 SETI@home - 2004-07-13 22:06:05 - Project prefs: no separate prefs for home; using your defaults SETI@home - 2004-07-13 22:06:05 - Host ID is 65227 --- - 2004-07-13 22:06:05 - General prefs: from SETI@home (last modified 2004-07-12 12:30:25) --- - 2004-07-13 22:06:05 - General prefs: no separate prefs for home; using your defaults SETI@home - 2004-07-13 22:06:05 - Restarting computation for result 04ja04aa.7402.10050.884652.111_2 using setiathome version 3.08 SETI@home - 2004-07-13 22:06:06 - Sending request to scheduler: http://setiboincdata.ssl.berkeley.edu/sah_cgi/cgi SETI@home - 2004-07-13 22:06:19 - Unrecoverable error for result 04ja04aa.7402.10050.884652.111_2 ( - exit code -1073741819 (0xc0000005)) SETI@home - 2004-07-13 22:06:19 - Computation for result 04ja04aa.7402.10050.884652.111 finished SETI@home - 2004-07-13 22:06:19 - Starting computation for result 04ja04aa.7402.10050.884652.108_2 using setiathome version 3.08 SETI@home - 2004-07-13 22:06:19 - Started upload of 04ja04aa.7402.10050.884652.111_2_0 SETI@home - 2004-07-13 22:07:31 - Scheduler RPC to http://setiboincdata.ssl.berkeley.edu/sah_cgi/cgi failed SETI@home - 2004-07-13 22:07:31 - No schedulers responded SETI@home - 2004-07-13 22:07:31 - Deferring communication with project for 2 minutes and 15 seconds SETI@home - 2004-07-13 22:09:47 - Sending request to scheduler: http://setiboincdata.ssl.berkeley.edu/sah_cgi/cgi --- - 2004-07-13 22:10:35 - Suspending computation and network activity - user request SETI@home - 2004-07-13 22:11:03 - Scheduler RPC to http://setiboincdata.ssl.berkeley.edu/sah_cgi/cgi failed SETI@home - 2004-07-13 22:11:03 - No schedulers responded SETI@home - 2004-07-13 22:11:03 - Deferring communication with project for 5 minutes and 48 seconds |

It looks like the SETI client didn't like something about the unit itself. It has given up calculation on that unit and is trying to send it back to the servers, but the servers are not responding. Don't worry about it. It will work on other units (if you have any), and tell the server about the bad one when it finally gets through. |

Ok thanks for your help. It had been working on it for 10 ½ hours! Ah well. |
