Hi all I've searched the forum for this but only found 1 previous question that didn't get any replies, so here goes I've got boinc/seti running on several linux boxes running SUSE SLES-8. About half of the machines run fine but the other half cannot upload the results, they get the following error message 2005-04-20 14:57:27 [SETI@home] Started upload of 20ja05ab.18441.21472.140892.17_0_0 ERROR: file upload returned -127 2005-04-20 14:57:28 [SETI@home] Temporarily failed upload of 20ja05ab.18441.21472.140892.17_0_0 2005-04-20 14:57:28 [SETI@home] Backing off 3 hours, 4 minutes, and 53 seconds on transfer of file 20ja05ab.18441.21472.140892.17_0_0 2005-04-20 14:58:59 [SETI@home] Started upload of 22ja05aa.20998.21537.704834.156_1_0 ERROR: file upload returned -127 2005-04-20 14:59:00 [SETI@home] Temporarily failed upload of 22ja05aa.20998.21537.704834.156_1_0 I've currently got 3 machines that between them have over 100 results trying to upload. These 3 machines have no trouble downloading seti work and are on the same network as machines that work fine. I've reset the project on one of the machines but the problem remains (I lost 30+ results doing that) Any ideas anyone ? |

update while one of the machines concerned has 35 results still trying to upload, it has managed to upload 6 results in the last 24 hours. Since the 1st result uploaded, another 500+ attempted uploads have failed with the above error message |
