Title says it all really. I joined the BOINC version in October, 2004, but since the database merge for SETI classic it now says December 2004. Why has it added the date from my test SETI classic account when it's a shorter time? Shouldn't it have kept my October date? Thanks |

I was a lucky guy with this hickup, as I joined around the same time as you, but have now the right to brag of being there first ;) It's 3 Apr 1999 for me, instead of 26 Oct 2004 19:04:12 UTC. Gruesse vom Saenger For questions about Boinc look in the BOINC-Wiki |

I've also got 1999-iv-03, but that was on an account I opened on 2004-xii-24. The account I transfered from Classic was dated 2001-v-18, even though I signed up 2000-v-25. Now, if it said 1999-iv-03 BCE... |

There is another problem. People whose signup date is showing Apr 3, 1999 are not having their Classic totals shown. |

As I never crunched classic, my explanation goes as this: People whose signup date is showing Apr 3, 1999 never have crunched for Classic, people who crunched for classic have this startup date shown, regardless of the possible earlier Boinc startup date. I think it will be sorted out, and if this happens within the first half of 2005, I'm happy ;) Gruesse vom Saenger For questions about Boinc look in the BOINC-Wiki |
