BOINC on my computer will not do anything when I enter a new project. I am seriously just scratching my head because it says it is connected to local server and anyway I have no clue, can someone provide a easy setup for this prog finally.Thank You |

> Could you post the log? I've got the same problem. In stdoutgui.txt I get: Windows Socket Error '10061' over and over and over. I've stopped and restarted Boinc, no joy. It was working fine last night right after the install. I am required by my office to shutdown my computer when I leave. I didn't explicitly close Boinc before shutting down and it was set to run always. The old seti didn't need to be shutdown explicitly so I didn't think to do that. Also in the lower right corner of the manager window it says disconnected. Why would it be disconnected, I've got a perm. network conn? |
