I uninstalled SETI@Home, installed BOINC 4.25 software for Windows 2000 Service Pack 4, and attached (or tried to attach) the BOINC manager to the SETI project using the URL and account activation key in the initial registration e-mail. All I get is a message saying that it can't resolve the hostname with the parenthetical message "(valid name, no data record of requested type)". What's up with that? Is there something in the preferences or setting that has to be set?

Thanks in advance.

Do you have a personal firewall (ZoneAlarm or XP built in firewall, or similar), proxy, or router that is blocking BOINC from getting out onto the internet?
